Key Responsibilities

Operational Metrics Oversight: Develop and manage key operational metrics for fulfillment, logistics, and delivery service levels, ensuring the company meets its high standards for operational excellence.

Delivery and Fulfillment Excellence: Ensure that delivery and fulfillment services meet or exceed customer expectations and service level agreements.

Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage stock levels, ensuring product availability meets demand without overstocking or stockouts.

Process Optimization: Lead process improvement efforts to streamline operations, focusing on the development and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the operational team and with other departments such as finance, product, and sales.

Data Analytics Proficiency: Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making, identify areas for operational enhancements, and monitor the impact of implemented changes.

Technology Utilization: Partner with tech/data teams to enhance operational systems, ensuring that the infrastructure supports efficient and effective processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with system and technology teams, as well as the data team, to leverage insights and technology in refining SOPs and achieving operational targets.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to the overall operational strategy of the company, ensuring it supports the business's growth and customer service objectives.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, empowering them with the tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce environment.

Proven track record of scaling operations and increasing efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing diverse teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in using data to inform and guide operational decisions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Knowledge of the mattress industry or large-item home delivery is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
